Using Infor ION workflows, we worked with FIFA 2022 hospitality partner to automate their purchasing process – more than thousands of POs with an average of 150 line items. The sole objective of the project was to automate the processes to make it faster to save time. There were multiple levels of approvals; hence we created alerts and monitors at each event and provided the ability for the users to take action on mobile or computer. We provided role-based dynamic dashboards for the executive users to track and trace from anywhere. It resolved the problem of manual interventions. The solution also included an Excel utility to upload the journal transactions to Sun Systems, their corporate finance system. An average of 18-20% of the time saving helped them to improve the turnaround time of the purchasing process.

We configured alerts and monitors to notify the users and set up process workflows for acting on the requests to approve the purchase requests and orders. We used Mingle to connect the various users from different locations. User-specific dashboards were configured to track the progress.
